Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, which was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) earlier this year, comes preloaded with Android 4.1.2 preinstalled but, a 4.2.2 official update is missing.
It seems that the wait is over, unofficially though, as an Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi has surfaced online and if you already own tablet you can try your hands-on the yet to be officially launched ROM by instructions posted on SamMobile.
Just a short recap of the Galaxy Note 8.0 – it is the smallest Note tablet from Samsung, boasts of an 8-inch screen with 1,280 × 800 resolution, is powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz, comes with S pen and has TouchWiz Nature UX on top of Android 4.1.2.
The people behind the leak claim that the ROM is official and after installing it, the performance of the tablet improved with visible improvement in its battery life.
We do not claim any responsibility or vouch for the validity of the ROM. Users be warned that flashing their devices with an unofficial ROM may damage them or brick them permanently.
