Mitashi launches ₹6,799 Android based handheld gaming console

Mitashi has launched a PlayStation Portable (PSP)-look alike handheld gaming console in India that run Android for as low as ₹6,799 ($115) featuring physical gaming buttons and a 4.3-inch display.

Dubbed GameIn Thunder Bolt the handheld is Wi-Fi enabled and the screen, which responds to five simultaneous touches, has a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. The device looks quite similar to the PSP with the placement of buttons but, is a lot cheaper. Running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, the Thunder Bolt is powered by a single core processor clocked at 1 GHz.

Some of the other features of the console are Mali 400 graphics processing unit, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB internal memory expandable to up to 32 GB using micro SD card, Android Play Store, as well as ability to handle other multi format (8 Bit, 16 Bit, 32 Bit) games.


Mitashi has also fit in a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front camera and offers six months warranty on the console.
