LG has launched its Optimus L4II Dual also known as the E445 in India rather silently and has made it available at a budget-friendly sub-₹10,000 price tag – ₹9,850 to be precise.

The L-series L4II Dual smartphone is powered by a 1GHz processor, has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 1700 mAh battery providing you a 10 hours talktime and features a is 3.8-inch IPS display capable of 320×480 resolution. The 3G smartphone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Some of the other features of the dual-SIM smartphone are 3-megapixel fixed focus rear camera that has a VGA resolution video capability. There is this smart SIM switch key that will allow users to switch between two SIM cards, a smart forward feature allows for automatic divert of an incoming call on one SIM to the other SIM.

We are rather surprised to see LG releasing a not so competitive handset at a price which will otherwise let you buy a quad-core smartphone featuring a 4.5-inch to 5-inch display manufactured by a local vendor. Given the quality of the smartphones, even from local vendors, LG is going to have a hard time this phone.

Some of the competitors of the LG Optimus L4II Dual are Sony Xperia E, HTC Desire C, and recently launched Samsung Galaxy Fame.
