One of the most powerful handsets from LG the Optimus 4X HD is now selling at an incredibly low price.

Fadka.com is selling the LG Optimux 4X HD (also known as the P880) for only ₹ 26,999 – a price that includes not only free delivery but also a free clip case along with 270 points towards your membership on site. This is a quad-core smartphone that costs under ₹ 27,000 – a price which is over 29% less than its original selling price.

The Optimus 4X HD is from the days when it was competing with the likes of HTC One X and the Samsung Galaxy S3 – about a year ago but, turns out that the smartphone didn’t garner much attention at the time and S3 turned out to be the ultimate winner in the quad-core smartphone wars.

Just like its competitors, the 4X HD also runs on a quad-core SoC, an 1.5 GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 to be more precise. To help the processor LG has put in 1GB of RAM and other features such as 16GB onboard storage, a microSD card slot, a 4.7-inch 1,280 x 720 pixel True HD IPS display, an 8-megapixel and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera make this smartphone a definite buy for budget savvy buyers.

Android 4.0 ICS (upgradable to Jelly bean), microUSB, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2,150mAh battery are some of the other features that the handset boasts of.

This LG smartphone is probably not the cheapest quad-core smartphone on the market as the 16GB Nexus 4 is already out in Indian markets and costs somewhere around ₹ 25,000.
